This workshop is for you if:

  • You’ve always wanted to get upside down and haven’t known how to do it

  • You are terrified at the idea of being upside down yet part of you wants to give it a go

  • You are able to go upside and want help to be more confident

  • You’ve plateaued in your existing handstand practice against the wall and are feeling stuck

After lots of practice and refining, Martin, James and I have used our varied skills and experience of yoga and mind and body coaching to create a workshop to bring a fresh approach to inverting your body that will help you go upside down with confidence and have fun at the same time!

For those of you who are regulars at my monthly handstand workshops, you’ll find our familiar drills alongside some fantastic new tools and techniques from Martin and James to complement the work you are already doing.

Along with being super cool, handstands are extremely good for developing body awareness, strength, mobility and mental focus when moving your body. The principles of going upside down will bring a new perspective to your existing yoga practice or exercise routine and this workshop will include a series of inverted positions as well as non inversions so you can link the whole yoga routine together.

We'll be looking at some of the underlying building blocks, both physical and mental, you need to tackle and overcome these challenging inversions safely so you can go upside down in the studio, at home or in the park!
