La Villetta mens naked yoga holiday:
Owned by one of my students and his husband, the 'little Villa' is a delightful cozy and private B&B very close to a beautiful beach and near Pula in Sardinia. After a very successful inaugural retreat in 2019, Andrea and I are excited to be returning in 2020 for another gorgeous week of yoga, good company, good food and good times!
Why naked?:
Yoga is about deepening our understanding of ourselves, the world around us, and our place in that world. Without the physical shield of clothes it's much easier to connect with that sense of self as we can more easily put aside the mental shield we all have in our daily lives. We're all on the same level, so no judgement can be made about who we are by the outward signs we choose to cover ourselves with. Meditating and practising yoga whilst naked as a member of a group of other naked men is a life-affirming and deeply liberating experience.
What's included:

5 nights accommodation (based on two guests sharing a double room), arrive Sat afternoon, depart Thurs afternoon.

Full and varied programme of daily yoga with two teachers; meditation, pranayama, asana

Plenty of free time to enjoy the local beach, including a naturist beach a short walk away

Three full meals a day, including delicious home cooked meals (and wine with dinner)

The Yoga/Meditation:
There will be three sessions each day. All are optional, it's your holiday! We'll start each day with a gentle wake up moving meditation. After breakfast there will be a more engaged session taking us up to lunchtime. The afternoons are free time. Then a more dynamic session before dinner, except on one evening when there will be a quiet meditation after dinner to take us to bed time.
The Venue:
La Villetta was created on the original meaning of “Bed and Breakfast”: an environment where people share common spaces and live together in a harmonious atmosphere.
If you decide to come and visit us it is because you are looking for a family setting where facilities are shared with each other just as if you were at home, yet with your own privacy.
La Villetta is located just a short 5 minutes walk to the beach and is surrounded by a large Mediterranean garden nestled in a pine forest, where it offers its guests a peaceful and private environment.
The house was built during the 70s and has kept its original features even after the recent refurbishment that equipped it with a wide spectrum of modern facilities: all rooms have their own air conditioning, fridge and safe. Guests who want to get on line can use our Wi-Fi even from the garden.
What to wear/Bring:

It's a naked retreat, but bear in mind it's late in the season so it might not be boiling hot in the evenings! Bring a pashmina! ;-)

Insect repellent - the area is not known for troublesome bugs, but the yoga will be outside so be prepared.
How many students will there be?
The retreat is limited to 10 yogis. I expect demand to be high, so get in early!
