Who this class is for:
Yoga for Men who don't think yoga is for them... :-) There's no chanting, no sanskrit, no music of any kind in my classes. We work on flexibility, strength, and mental focus. It can be physically intense but also deeply relaxing.
This class is perfect if you've never done yoga before but have a reasonable degree of physical fitness, or if you have an existing practice but want an opportunity to develop and grow. I give clear easy instructions in layman's language (no sanskrit or chanting in my classes), and we focus on key postures, breathing, developing strength, and balance. You'll learn to connect mind and body and develop a deeper understanding of your own physicality. No prior experience is necessary, and the class is friendly and fun.
What to wear/Bring:
This is a naturist class so no clothing please, no exceptions.
Mats are provided by the venue, but if you have a mat please bring it along.
A water bottle and a towel if you choose to.
Life sometimes puts unavoidable delays in our path, and if something means you'll be late for class please don't worry: you're welcome to join when you arrive (within reason!) . All I ask is that you let me know so I can prepare a space for you and let the other students know.
How many students will there be?
The class is limited to 16 students and places are prioritised to those who have pre-booked. Remaining places are allocated on a first come first served basis.
Where exactly is it?
Robinson Fitness is located a stone’s throw away from Clapham High Street Overground Station and Clapham North Underground Station in the Clapham North Arts Centre complex.
Directions from Clapham North Underground
Exit Clapham North Underground Station, and turn left. Walk towards the railway bridge, until you reach a pelican crossing, opposite The Railway pub. Cross the road, then walk around to the right of The Railway pub, until you see the blue sign for Clapham North Arts Centre. Walk up Voltaire Road towards the sign, and enter the gate. Walk down the road, through the Arts Centre, and when you reach Big Squid SCUBA head around the back, looking for signs for Robinson Fitness.

Exit Clapham High Street Overground Station, and turn right – you will see a big blue sign for Clapham North Arts Centre. Walk up Voltaire Road towards the sign, and enter the gate. Walk down the road, through the Arts Centre, and when you reach Big Squid SCUBA head around the back, looking for signs for Robinson Fitness.
